IMPAX Temperature Monitor
Temperature can play an important role in process quality. Tooling or machine temperature can be indicative of whether a process is performing well, within expected tolerances and limits, or whether there may be a problem with tooling or the machine. PTG's Temperature Monitor is designed to measure the temperature of dies or other critical machine areas, display them for easy reference, and alert an operator if the temperature exceeds a predefined threshold. If a critical temperature level is reached, a relay output can be activated, to control lights or other indicators, or to stop the machine before damage occurs. The Temperature Monitor is compatible with many types of thermocouples and other temperature sensors. The system can be incorporated with other monitoring products, or installed on unmonitored machines or workstations. Custom monitoring products can also be designed for any temperature-sensitive application, as standalone devices, or as a networked system that collects and records temperature information.
