The TSS system tracks downtime occurrences by reason: up to 64 customizable reasons may be entered for each machine. These reasons are logged as they are selected, archived, and displayed in TSS-NET. Managers can see the number of occurrences and the time spent for each reason, which is invaluable for determining the primary reasons for machine downtime. In addition, for each downtime, the operator response time is also tracked. This can help determine how much staffing concerns affect machine productivity.
